Official title

A Single-Arm Phase-II Study of Niraparib in Locally Advanced or Metastatic Solid Tumor Patients With PALB2 Mutations

18+ years old; male & female.

Medical condition

Advanced stage or metastatic or stage III or stage IV solid tumor with a PALB2 mutation or PALB2 germline mutation.

How do I know if I have a PALB2 mutation?

During your cancer evaluation, your doctor may send a sample of your tumor for DNA testing. This can help with choosing a treatment or clinical trial study. If your lab results show a PALB2 mutation, you may be able to join the PAVO study.

Phase 2

Niraparib, in a pill format as an oral drug.

The PAVO study is open and enrolling at nearly 2 dozen locations across the U.S., with more sites opening every month. If you are eligible for PAVO and there is no clinical trial site open near you, we may be able to work with your doctor to quickly open the PAVO study at a treatment center that is close to your location.

GlaxoSmithKline provides drug and funding for this study.
