1. Who can order the Tempus Genetic test?

    Clinicians treating patients who suffer from depression, anxiety, or other psychiatric conditions can order a Tempus Genetic test.

  2. I am a healthcare provider who has never previously ordered a test from Tempus. How can I get started?

    The Tempus Genetic Test may be ordered through Tempus Hub. If you are a new Tempus customer, complete a requisition form by visiting hub.securetempus.com.

  3. How long will it take to get the results?

    Results will be delivered to the ordering physician approximately 7-10 days from the time Tempus receives the sample and order requisition form.

  4. Which patients are eligible for the Tempus nP test?

    Patients diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), General Anxiety Disorder (GAD), or related psychiatric conditions may benefit from the Tempus nP test. For more information please email help@tempus.com.

  5. Are the results of the Tempus nP report confidential?

    Tempus is a HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) covered entity. Results that contain protected health information will only be shared with the ordering physician and as otherwise permitted by law.

  6. What is the expected cost of the Tempus nP test?

    The expected patient cost of the Tempus PGx test depends on the patient’s selected billing preference. Tempus offers a transparent self-pay option of $295 for the Tempus genetic test. Tempus also accepts government and in-network insurance. To help manage costs, we offer flexible payment plans, offer HSA/FSA, and provide financial assistance for eligible patients.   7. How is data from Tempus PRO™ used?

    Your patient’s identifiable health information collected through Tempus PRO™ is protected in accordance with HIPAA requirements and kept confidential. De-identified data from Tempus PRO is used to improve the way your condition is diagnosed and treated.
